AMEC Oil Sands in Calgary requires an Instrumentation & Control Specialist to develop and prepare designs and engineering documents required by the project.

Responsibilities :

Writing specifications and requisitions

Reviewing project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy

Developing and maintaining positive, sustainable client relationships

Coordinating and working with project team members to deliver the assigned activities

Check drawings and documents

Execute and have checked/approved all necessary calculations and studies required within the work scope

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering or related field

8+ years of experience in the design and engineering of Instrumentation and Control systems in an EPC environment.

User experience with INTools is required.

Solid Written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks
